Pipeline Repairing and Maintenance

It is one of the most important responsibilities of a Water Undertaking to properly maintain the transmission and distribution mains in order to prevent waste and provide a constant pressurized flow of potable water to the consumers. It is equally important to prevent damage to the public property which could arise for not properly repairing a defective pipe. Proper planning and implementation of remedial measures will avoid leakages and breakdowns.

  • The safety, efficiency and economic viability of the oil and gas industry relies greatly on the transport and transfer of fluids from wellheads, through offshore process system piping and pipelines to refining facilities. Regular inspection of pipeline ad process pipework can uncover defects or leaks that require modification or repair. We collaborate with clients to ensure the specific requirements of any replacement or repair solution are fully understood and risk assessed. Solutions are engineered to meet the exacting design and operating parameters of the system.
  • We are engineered to suit a wide variety of applications for installation onshore, topsides or subsea. Our innovative repair and maintenance solutions enable operators to avoid or minimize shutdown time and reduce risk and expenditure.
  • We capabilities cover routine and emergency pipeline repair and maintenance. We enable our customers to maintain and operate Onshore and Offshore Pipelines. We Onshore and Offshore Pipeline Repair Clamps and Services help customers maintain pipelines between assets.
  • Extending from subsea fields to topside facilities, or host facility to shore, our deep-water clamps offer innovative, custom solutions to seal leaks on complex locations. To address emergency needs of the leak sealing clamps, we maintain a large raw material inventory.
  • We design, manufacture and test clamps in record time for repairs to restore integrity and get customer pipelines back online quickly. We maintains an extensive inventory of mechanical pipe couplings, welding reinforcement sleeves, hot tap tees, pipeline repair clamps, misalignment ball connectors. To reduce cost of unplanned maintenance, we collaborate with customers to create proactive maintenance programs and inventory to ensure pipeline integrity and dependable flow.
  • Support for our products does not end with delivery and installation. Our sales and service personnel assist customers 24/7, minimizing costly downtime and keeping pipeline operations online.
Pipeline Repair Clamp

Pipeline Repair Clamps are designed to be installed on damaged or leaking pipework, encapsulating the defect within the clamp body and regaining pressure integrity through mechanical seals and / or locks engaging on the sound parent pipe.

Strap Clamp - Repair, Hot Tapping or Encapsulation

We patented strap clamp provides a localised seal on a pipe surface. These clamps can be used for either pipeline repair or hot tapping operations. Lightweight in design they are simple to install and offer a robust isolation for localised sealing

Pin-Hole Leak Repair Clamp

Pin-Hole Leak Repair Clamps have been developed for process piping repair in oil and gas process facilities for holes or defects up to 12mm. Clamps are available in sizes from 2” to 48” and for pressures up to 153 Bar.

Caisson Securing and Recovering

We provide a range of caisson handling equipment for safely securing and recovering damaged or redundant caissons. Internal and External Lifting Tools cover a range of sizes to allow for safe and controlled caisson removal.

Pile Lifting & Handling

Internal Lifting Tools are used for the safe lifting and upending of tubular piles for insertion into the seabed. ILTs can be inserted either horizontally, using the centre of gravity bracket as a lifting arm, or lowered vertically into the pile.

Causes of failure in pipeline

For proper planning for the operation of the repair work it is necessary to assess the probable causes of failure. Following guidelines outline some of the factors to be duly considered to ensure protection of pipes from damage/failure.

Handling and storage of pipe

Damage during transport of the piping material. 2. Defective stacking and storage. 3. Damage to the pipe wall and coating. 4. Cracks in pipe during careless unloading and pipes striking against each other. 5. Weathering effect due to unfavorable environment. 6. Mixing up of different classes of pipes and their jointing materials.
